Voices Dance Company

Voices Dance Company is an independent contemporary dance and performance group from Chisinau, connected to Moldova's modern movement scene. At Contact+ it presents Light from the Shadow, a multimedia performance where movement, music, spoken text and projections trace a poetic journey.

Voices is historically connected to Angela Doniy and now to the long-term creative duo Alexandra Soshnicova and Sergey Golovnea. Their work with the company and the wider Fantezia / Contact+ context brings together contemporary dance, Contact Improvisation, physical theatre, poetry, projections and educational practice.

Light from the Shadow turns biographical and poetic material into a layered stage language about love, memory and creative light. In the Contact+ credits, Alexandra and Sergey are connected to Voices as choreographer-directors and dancers.
