Tamara Maksymenko

Tamara Maksymenko is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher of Contact Improvisation and contemporary dance. Her practice moves between performance, teaching, body therapy and long-term international festival work.

Tamara has 18 years of teaching experience and 30 years of dance experience. She has taught workshops across Europe and beyond, including Poland, Spain, Israel, Austria, Italy, Greece, Finland, Egypt, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Morocco, Bulgaria, Sweden, Portugal, France and Turkey.

She is the founder of Motion Mode Dance Theatre, one of the founders of Motion Mode of Dialogue in Tirol, creator of dance projects, and founder of Solo & CI Tirol Festival and West meets East. Her background includes medical education in body therapy and sociology.
