Daniel Rojasanta

Daniel Rojasanta is a multidisciplinary performing artist and musician from Colombia. His practice moves through Contact Improvisation, somatic work, physical theatre, music, poetry, painting and performance.

Daniel studied Plastic Arts and Contemporary Art at the National University of Colombia and completed a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Painting at the China Art Academy, researching painting and performance. His training includes Taichi with Zhou ZhongFu, Butoh with Katsura Kan and physical theatre in South Korea.

After co-creating Contact HZ, the first Contact Improvisation community in Hangzhou, he toured internationally with workshops and laboratories on somatics, performance, Material for the Spine and Contact Improvisation. His solo performance ENSŌ has been shown in Germany, China and Thailand.
