Alexandra Soshnicova

Alexandra Soshnicova is a Moldovan dancer, performer, choreographer, international teacher and organizer. She is a co-leader of Contact+ and a central figure in Moldova's contemporary dance and Contact Improvisation scene.

Alexandra's collaboration with Sergey Golovnea began in 1997 in Voices Performance Dance Company under Angela Doniy. Since 2000 they have worked as a duet, dancing, improvising, teaching and choreographing together.

Their practice spans contemporary dance, Contact Improvisation, partnering, composition and performance. Alexandra has taken part in international projects as a dancer, choreographer and organizer, has taught across Europe and beyond, and helps lead Contact+ together with Fantezia contemporary dance school / youth theatre in Chișinău.
